Values
THE GOSPEL: Be Reconciled
In His great grace and love, Christ came to redeem the people of a lost and broken world through the power of His death and resurrection. Now God is making His appeal to the world through us. We wholeheartedly believe in the life-changing power of the gospel and that He calls us to compassionately live it and speak it in the context of everyday life.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Titus 3:4-5; John 3:16
SPIRITUAL GROWTH: Be Christ-like
We desire to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ, to be increasingly like Him. This growth includes discipleship areas such as knowing the Word, worshiping, praying, giving generously, and sharing Christ with those who do not know Him and are perhaps far from Him.
John 15:4-5; Matthew 7:24; 1 John 2:5
AUTHENTICITY: Be Real
Knowing that we are all works in progress, growing in our relationship with Christ, it is vital that we not put on facades. We desire to walk in Christ’s love and truth in all humility and honesty, especially with one another. Therefore, we seek to be genuine in prayer, worship, teaching, fellowship, and serving.
Matthew 5:37; Romans 12:9-10; Ephesians 4:15; Colossians 3:12-17
COMMUNITY: Be Together
We were not created to do life alone, but rather to share our lives with one another. We believe that the Household of Faith is a gift given to each of us by Christ in order to learn and mature together.
Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:15; 1 Thessalonians 2:8
SERVANTHOOD: Be Available
It is impossible to follow the example of Jesus without serving. We compassionately serve one another and our community through intentional and selfless acts of kindness, putting into practice the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given us.
John 13:15; Philippians 2:3-5; Matthew 20:28; 1 Corinthians 12:7
